Obituary of Marjorie Annette Sullivan

Sullivan, Marjorie Annette January 1, 1939 - February 16, 2017 Our beautiful Marj passed away peacefully at Toronto East General Hospital with her beloved partner-in-life, Don Smith at her side after a lengthy stay in the hospital. Marj's pride and joy was her beloved Don, her brother Len and his family, and her love for all the family dogs: Amber, Cleo, Summer, Kennedy and Michigan. Marj’s dogs Amber and Cleo were the love of her life. She loved being by Don Smith's side, enjoying cottage vacations, restaurant dinners and dances. She was a wonderful sister to Len Parrington and sister-in-law to Diane Parrington. She adored every birthday and holiday celebration, filling the room with love and appreciation for time with them. Aunt Marj was the most amazing aunt to her nieces and nephews; Jason, Jennifer, Michele and Kevin. She never missed a chance to shower Len and Diane's children, Jennifer, Michele and Kevin, with hugs, kisses and presents. Her love was immense and felt everyday. Aunt Marj was a beloved great aunt as well to Jennifer and husband Donny's children, Avery and Cameron. The grandchildren loved seeing her and talking sports and school with her. Aunt Marj was always in awe watching Michele and husband Erick's oldest child, Nathan, dance around and play with the dogs. We know her heart was filled with joy at the announcement of the birth of Michele's newborn baby Michael. Aunt Marj loved attending her niece's weddings and was anticipating another cherished day for the upcoming marriage of her nephew Kevin to his fiancee Christina. Marj was blessed to have a lifelong friend, Donna Kiddell. Marj and Donna stirred up immense trouble and fun throughout their friendship, which started in Grade 3. They were quite a twosome and knew how to enjoy life in The Beaches in Toronto. But what Marj lived for was her beloved partner, Don. Truly a match in every way, as they are both the most kind, loving and giving people you could ever meet. Seeing Marj and Don holding hands so warmly at Christmas this year and every year spoke of their deep sentiment and respect. They were life companions for the past 30 years and their love for each other is everlasting. Private memorials will be held at a later date in some of Marj's most cherished places. Condolences can be shared with Don Smith, Len Parrington and Diane Parrington.
