Simeona Mabanta

Obituary of Simeona Mabanta

Simeona Labordo Mabanta (September 17, 1923 – July 15, 2017) was a humble, quiet, friendly, constantly smiling, and patient person who loved her family with all her heart and prioritized them above all else. She was especially fond of her father, Juan, and was very close with her sister, Felipa. When it came to supporting her family, Simeona took on jobs such as laundering clothes in order to make ends meet. She also owned a small restaurant (“carinderia”) and loved to take care of animals, especially birds and pigs. Her favourite flowers were those of bright colours.

We invite you to celebrate her life with us on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the eco Life Celebration Centre-Magnolia Room of St. John's Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium (737 Dundas St. East, Mississauga).
