Dear Robbie, David, John, Barbara and Paul,
Sending Anton and my deepest condolences for the loss of your kind, beautiful and gracious mother. As time passes, it is wonderful to be able to reflect on those individuals who we had been fortunate enough to have known if only briefly but who were cornerstones and luminaries in our journey. We were very blessed to have had the opportunity to have been able to have your mother's gentle and welcoming soul help to guide us. I know her spirit and memory will continue provide comfort. Some of the happiest moments of my life took place under Mrs. H's roof. She took a quiet delight in the presence of new friends and old. Always solicitous, always engaged. A great appreciator and contributor to the art of conversation and a woman whose house was a home in ways great and small.
The world is a smaller place without her.

Dear Paul, Barb, Robin, David and John and all of the extended Pearson family,
Our deepest condolences. Pat will always have a warm and special place in our hearts. From the time I was a teenager and first met her, to the past 23 years that Ian and I have been together, Pat has been a kind and decent, loving presence in our lives.
We will never forget the beautiful letter of support Pat wrote to immigration officials in the Canadian government, vouching for our loving partnership and encouraging officials to accept Ian's application to live in Canada and allow us to build our lives together, long before marriage equality was the law of the land.
Visits over the past few years during her stay at Lakeside Nursing Home were bittersweet, but she always flashed those sparkling eyes and winning smile. It was an inspiration to see you all rally round your Mum over these difficult years. She lives on in each of you and your children. How she lived her life shows us that we can be the change we want to see in this world.

Sending my deepest condolences to Patrica's family and loved ones. I only met her a few times, but heard many stories from my mother, Sheila Zimmerman, her first cousin. They shared many memories as children and some adventures as adults too, traveling to Ireland in search of their roots. A great sense of humour and an appreciation for a good story were things that kept their enduring connection to each other. Hoping that such shared memories and stories give you all comfort at this sad time.
