Obituary of Thomas Charles Leriche

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Thomas Charles Leriche, 55, of Mississauga on May 19, 2025.

Born in Mississauga, where he lived for most of his life, to Hugh (predeceased) and Laurette Leriche (née Ducharme), he was a devoted father, loving son, caring brother and steadfast friend. Thomas is survived by his two children (Chloe and Ethan), mother (Laurette) and sister (Ann with nieces Deanna and Erin).

Thomas graduated from Sheridan College, where he studied computer programming. He spent the last 14 years working for the Region of Peel, taking his career from computer administration to business analysis.

An adventurer who loved to fish, hike, camp, canoe and travel, he was also an artist and had returned to this passion in recent years. A regular attendee of comic and gaming conventions, he loved board games, movies and comics. He had a huge passion for gardening in his large vegetable garden. He loved to share the produce and gardening with family and canning the bounty.

Thomas loved his children and was an awesome father to Chloe and Ethan, always there to guide and support them. He shared his passions and hobbies with his children and nieces, making camping trips, outings to the drive-in and game nights regular family activities.
