Obituary of Donald Leslie Sanders

 
Loving Dad, Grandfather & Friend
December 18, 1945 – June 27, 2025 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Donald Sanders. Born in Dundas, ON, Don was an intelligent, funny, caring friend and father, known for his sense of humour and breadth of knowledge. He is survived by his children, Larissa (Brent), Matthew (Mildred), Danielle (Julian), and Brett; his grandchildren, Milani, Maia, Mateo, Alina, and Sabine; and his cats Oskie and Ozzy.

Don dedicated his life to working as an elementary teacher for over 30 years. He loved spending time with his family, watching and playing sports, and enjoyed a good conversation. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Please celebrate Don's life with us on Sunday, July 13, 2025 with visiting from 12:15 p.m. until 1 p.m. at which time a Tribute to him will be given followed by a reception, all at the eco Life Celebration Centre-Magnolia Chapel of St. John's Dixie Cemetery (737 Dundas Street East, at Cawthra, Mississauga). 

Guest parking is available in the large lot adjacent to the church. Please proceed North through the cemetery gates to the large building ahead, west entry doors.
