Obituary of Doris Shirley Allin

Doris Shirley Allin (née Culliton)

February 22,1929 - December 5, 2025

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Doris, age 96.
Affectionately called Doris (Day) & Granny DD she was cherished, loved by many & happiest when she was with family & friends having fun with her lipstick & dancing shoes on!
Survived by her daughter Vicki Allin -Perrin Mississauga ON, grandson Troy Perrin Calgary AB, granddaughter Alexis Perrin (Gord Howard) Kenora ON,  grandson Justin Allin (Helen Trung) precious great granddaughters Talia & Camille Vancouver BC, grandson Billy Allin Armstrong BC and her two former daughters in law, Sandra Crawford and Donna Jackson both BC.
Aunt Doris loved spending time with her many nieces & nephews and their growing families. Also survived by her former sister in law Mary Haines (nee Allin) of Port Colborne ON and her family.

She was predeceased by her parents, Richard & Pearl Culliton (nee Douglas), her two sisters & brothers in law, Audrey & Lorne Lennox and Betty & Adam Kennedy, her former husband William Allin, their son Dale Allin and their former son-in-law Mike Perrin.  Also predeceased by William's sisters & brothers in law Carolyn & Penn Norris and Jean & John Kelly.

Vicki would like to thank the staff of Wellbrook Place Nursing Home for their kindness, care and compassion, especially Dianne & Janet.

Doris will be always be remembered for her fun and fierce spirit! She will be laid to rest at the Wroxeter Cemetery in the spring.
