We shared the same apartment in Cape Town. I didn’t know how to cook back then, but whatever I prepared, you ate it with a smile. You were my ChatGPT even in 2011, always guiding me, always patient.
We went to the beach so many times, swam together, laughed, and truly lived those days.
Later in Toronto, we became neighbors again in the early days. We met almost every day, taking the bus together, those trips were simple but full of fun.
I will never, ever forget your last call.
I miss you so much, macha. You will always be a part of me
Gone too soon. We are going to miss Glany dearly. Always so cheerful, helpful and witty. Favourite uncle to our kids and a dear friend to us. This has left a big void, but we will try to fill it with all the memories with Glany that we cherish.
Rest in peace Glany.
The time Glany and I spent in Cape Town forms such an important part of my memory. I will always remember him as someone incredibly intelligent and strong. I’m deeply saddened by this news. My thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family. I hope he is at peace in a better place.
