Glen and I played rugby together for Balmy Beach. He was an excellent athlete and a great teammate. Rugby is a tough sport. Glen played hard, always with sportsmanship and respect for players on the other team. We shared a longtime interest in standardbred horses and harness racing. The last time I saw him he brought a gift, a ball cap with the name of one of my favourite horses. So thank you Glen, and for my many great memories. Good man gone suddenly and too soon

From the first day that I met you playing beach volleyball at the club I came to know you as a truly kind, witty, versatile and knowledgeable person, and a most genuine friend. Through many decades I relished joining you in many sporting activities; beach volleyball, rugby, squash, Five’s football, The Hair of the Dog run to name just a few and always, always in sharing a pint. You remained steadfast and constant throughout the years. You will be sorely missed. Cheers My Friend.
