I just learned today about Leigh's passing and I am heartbroken. I hadn't spoken to her in years, but always thought I would reconnect with her. Leigh was my wonderful massage therapist, but we formed a friendship in the time I would go to her house for an amazing massage, heart-to-heart and usually a baked good around the corner from her. She had an amazing sense of humour and a wonderful soul. I have such good memories with her which I will cherish now more than ever. I am so lucky to have had that time with her - I will miss her so much. My deepest condolences to her friends and family.

I just learned of Leah's passing today and am completely shocked and saddened. The last time I saw Leah was September 2015 when I was 9 months pregnant and went for a final massage before motherhood ...I've thought of her and her incredible massages frequently over the last year and half and today decided it was time to book one....that's when I learned the terrible news. Leah was such a kind, warm soul and the most talented massage therapist I've ever been too! I will miss you Leah xo

I met you in grade school. You were kind when others were not. You forgave easily. You were my friend even when I didn't deserve it. You hugged me when I needed it. I remember your laugh and your creativity. Others have written about your "bright light" aura - it's so true. You radiated goodness and I firmly believe that is why God called you home. I am still stuck in trying to find the right words to express my shared grief in the loss of Leigh. My prayers have been with her family and her family of friends for the past few months. She had that rare quality to connect with others effortlessly. We shared a wicked sense of humour - we could push each other to edge and challenge it further! It was a fateful day when that conference paired us up as we were both looking to share accommodation. From our first conversation I just knew we would get along and have a good time.

I just heard about Leigh's passing. I'm deeply saddened and shocked. She was my massage therapist for many years and I always looked forward to seeing her. She always greeted me with a huge hug and I will miss our late night chats as she "fixed me". She was always so generous and kind and I learned so much from her. My deepest condolences. Shock and denial, that is what we are feeling, what I imagine everyone who was in orbit in Leigh's universe is feeling now. We were all swirling around her because to be near Leigh was very much like orbiting around a sun. All the amazing aspects of her spirit have been written down, but it cannot be said enough that Leigh was an amazing human being. It is difficult to accept that someone who was so compassionate, generous and so damned alive is now gone. Everyone has their personal memories of her, but we all share in the knowledge that Leigh was a undeniable presence, a real force of nature. If you she was in your life regularly, you were indeed blessed. For those of us who saw her less, the time we had with her was a gift and never nearly enough. Our hearts go out to her family and those closest to her. Leigh, you were one seriously shining star, we love you.

I was very saddened to hear of Leigh's passing. Growing up my brother, Peter and I spent so much time at the Moffat's home. It was our home away from home. Leigh was older than me and I always cherished her sense of humour and thought she was the coolest. It's not very often in life that we cross paths with such a cherished soul and for this Peter and I feel blessed. Peter and I send our deepest condolences to the Moffat's. Leigh's passing hit me hard. We shared a lot of good times together. Lots of laughter, joking around and also deep chats. She was more like a sister than a friend. We even had strangers ask if we were sisters and we would say yes. Her laugh, hugs, healing hands and advice will be missed dearly. She was one in a million. Leigh was truly loved by everyone who had the pleasure to know her. I had worked with Leigh for the past 10 years and considered her a friend and a big part of our family at The Performance Health Centre. I was greeted every day with the warmest hug and the biggest smile. She was a nurturer in every sense of the word. Always offering to treat everyone in our clinic without hesitation and had a devout following. Leigh had a personality larger than life and she will be dearly missed by all of our staff at our clinic and all of her patients. I have been completely devastated and deeply saddened by her passing. I have had the pleasure of knowing Leigh for over decade. I first met her at The Elm wood Spa in my early years as an Massage Therapist. she was so much fun to work with and everybody was her friend. Leigh is a natural care giver with a personality larger than life. She always gave great advice and her honest opinion ...(weather you liked it or not). She was a REAL person who genuinely cared for others and was always there for you with open arms. Leigh was many things to many people but to me personally a dear friend and family of The Performance Health Center where I have been blessed to work with her for 10+ years. I will miss her enthusiasm, sarcasm, humor and dirty jokes ...but most of all her presence and hugs. I would also like to give my deepest condolences to her family and closest friends in this difficult time.
