Obituary of Erna Kremnitz

Dear mother of Gaby and Danny , Omi to grandson Harvey Shular and his wife Kate and a special Omi to great grandson Jaxson . Born in Karlsruhe Germany in 1924. As a young woman She loved music, dancing and traveling. She came to Canada in 1954 followed by her mother and father Kathe and Richard Scholer soon after. It was here she met her husband Gunther ( pre deceased 1977) also from Germany and they were married in 1957. Mom was more than happy to be a mother and homemaker working part time jobs here and there. She also looked forward to getting dressed up to go dancing with her friends at the German club. She went out dancing up until her late 70's. She loved her food and had a knack for making the simplest meal feel special. We'll all remember how her favourite time of day was coffee time . Coffee and Kuchen every day! Her biggest passion was her animals . There was never a time she didn't have a cat or two. She never had to go far to get a cat, they always found her first. She was a kind sweet lady who never had a bad thing to say about anyone. She always set an example of patience, tolerance and unconditional love . "A kind word was always better " she would say. Please come help us celebrate her with her favourite coffee n Kuchen on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. at the eco Life Celebration Centre- "Oak Room" of St. John's Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium (737 Dundas St. East, Mississauga at Cawthra) Guests are encouraged to park in the lot south of the cemetery gates and proceed through the gates to the building at the right.
