Obituary of Elva Rosa Balarezo

Elva Balarezo July 3rd 1923 - August 8th 2016 Elva Balarezo, 93 year old long time resident of Toronto,Ontario passed away on August 8th 2016. Elva was born and raised in Chiclayo, Peru on July 3rd, 1923. She leaves behind her husband, Pedro Arturo Balarezo, her children, Maria Balarezo, Walter Balarezo,Hilda Balarezo (daughter-in-law), Gabriela Herman, and Richard Herman (son-in-law). She was a caring Grandmother to, Rocio Espinoza, Maria Castaneda,Gabriela Balarezo, Chelsea Herman, and Laura Balarezo. Elva also leaves behind many grand, great and great-great-grandchildren. Elva was an amazing mother, full of compassion, patience, and kind advice. She was a very sweet, caring, and strong person with spontaneous humour. A wonderful human being who dedicated her life to her children, husband andcommunity. A person of faith who always put everybodyelse’s needs before her own. She was a part of many initiatives in her home community in Peru. Some prime initiatives include urbanizing small underdeveloped cities, leading toy drives for Christmas, building a church in her last residence, called the Molina, and many more. She will be dearly missed, never forgotten, as she had a profound impact on the lives of many people. May she rest peacefully in God’s kingdom Please join us in celebrating the life of Elva on Sunday, August 14, 2016 for visiting from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the eco Life Celebration Centre "Magnolia Chapel" of St. John's Dixie Cemetery (737 Dundas St. East, Mississauga). Guests are encouraged to park in the parking lot adjacent to the church and proceed through the cemetery gates to the building on the right. Elva's Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 10:15 a.m. at Nativity of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church (480 Rathburn Road, Etobicoke).
