Dianne had a special gift of connecting with people. Whether that was with children or adults, she was able to embrace them and conversely we gravitated to her. She was kind, thoughtful, loving and a dedicated person. Truly a person that will be missed but always remembered.

Dianne was an important part of my life, she was closer to me than most of my other relatives are. I am glad that she is not suffering in a hospital bed anymore. Dianne will forever be in my heart.

Dianne became an extended member of our family almost twelve years ago when she began taking care of our daughter Claire. Her gentle, patient and loving demeanour instantly won the love of both of our daughters and their deep connection will remain throughout their entire lives. She will always hold a special place in all of our hearts and will truly be missed. We feel as though we know so many of her relatives and friends from here and back home as she talked so often about the important people in her life. Our condolences go out to Eric, Patricia, Blair, Lori Ann and your families.

My condolence to Eric, Patricia ,Lorianne & Blair. Diane & I spent a good deal of time together when she travelled to Cape Breton. Our time together was spent discussing all of you. She often spoke of the grand children with love and of her affection for the two young ladies that she babysat. My sympathies go out Diane's brothers. &sisters . We all grew up together so something like Diane's passing reminds of of how fragile life can be. Take care of one another.
