I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Jill. I enjoyed talking to her at The Lion, always a bit of relief as a woman to sit next to her at the bar and have someone to chat with. Last time I ran into her was at The Duke and missed a work meeting because it was more fun to chat with Jill. So glad I did.

To the family and friends of Jill:
My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. Loosing a loved one is emotionally straining and I can relate to the loss of a loved one. Fortunately there is a hope for dead loved ones. John 5:28,29 says "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." I miss the conversations that Jill and I had at the Lion. Her infectious laugh would always bring up my spirit, no matter what negative things were going on in my life. She'd never tell her age and I thought that was so funny. I am surprised to read that she was 70. She took such good care of herself that I am astonished at her age. She had a kind and very young spirit, joie de vivre. I am so glad that Jill had some time with her grand kids, albeit a short time. Jill, here's to you and your spritzers. :o) May you rest in peace, dear Jill. xo

Gord, Ryan, and Ashley:
It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Jill. While our contact with Jill was limited, we certainly enjoyed the times that we shared with her. We always found Jill to be warm and cheerful, and we can only imagine what joy her grandchildren brought her!
