Lorna was like an aunt to me. From the moment we met we became very close. When i needed encouragement she was there when i needed a swift kick in the but and a gentle nudge in the right direction she was there. I love you aunt lorna i will always remember you telling me to be like a bear strong in what ever comes my way. I love you and will miss you deeply.

This is such a lovely picture of your Mom Kris. Lorna was among the first and remained one of the few friends when I moved into Mondragon. Most notably, I remember a HOT summer day when, on the spur of the moment, we loaded up her car and mine and a bunch of us went to Wasaga for the day and into the evening. Such a great day of swimming, picnicing and just general FUN we had that day. Kris, Jeniqua and Damon, please don't dwell on the last few days of sadness but remember always what a fun and out-going person your Mom/Nana was. She loved watching you participate in whatever sport you were involved in and was probably your loudest cheer leader. Rest in Paradise Lorna, you will certainly be missed by many ! I was saddened to hear of Lorna's passing. I'll miss her friendly smile and wave she gave me everyday when she was working as a crossing guard and I was driving a school bus. I could tell that she enjoyed that job and talking to the children. She will be missed by all you knew her, even if it was just a smile and a wave. RIP Lorna

Where do I start to begin?.........When I first heard of this sad news. To be honest, my heart strings were pulled a little....Lorna was a big part of my childhood days. I will always remember the happy, fun times. That we shared over the years at Mondragon. My name is Shannon McFarlane and I was a very very close friend of the Morans. Jeniqua's (old) childhood BF :).....
Loosing a loved one is Always HARD.... especially when they are so close to you. As Lorna was to the 3 of you. Sure you guys had ups and downs. Over the years. As many close families do.... All in all. Your Family was a great example of what love and dedication is all about. With LORNA at the front of it (my personal opinion, anyway) LORNA MORAN will be greatly missed by many and always remembered.... Still a little shocked by the news. Sucks man...totally sucks....
Please take some comfort in knowing that many are thinking of your Family and are keeping you close in their thoughts. As I know I am xo

This one is for you Jeni :) xo As your (old) child hood BESTFRIEND. Miss those days by the way.... We both know how actively involved Nana was with your beloved baseball days.... Those were without a doubt many of her happier days :) This we also both know.... She would have went to the ends of the Earth for you and Damon.
She loved, cherished and adored you two. Like you were her own children.... LORNA was extremely proud of both of you and everyone that knew her. Knew this, because she made sure of it haha!! ;)

My deepest sympathy to you all with the passing of the most remarkable human I have ever come to know. Lorna was everything to us, a friend, a parent, a grandparent, a coach and yes even a straight shooter. She never told us what we wanted to hear yet only what we should hear.
