Obituary of Peter Bell

In Loving Memory of Peter Bell August 11, 1947 – October 5, 2015 Peter was a loving husband and best friend to Joan for 44 years, amazing Dad and best friend to Lindsay and supportive father in law to Michael (Buccella). Peter will be sadly missed by his mother Sheila, sister Shirley (Geoff Fowdrey), brother Ian (Chris), nephew Rory (Claire), nieces Nicky (Mark Sheldon), Leah and Carrie and his many close friends. Peter was born in Rugby, England to Sheila and Jack Bell and immigrated with Joan to Canada in 1974. He began his work in fire protection in 1978 and was a member of the Canadian Fire Alarm Association. Peter was the proud owner and President of Ace Fire & Security for 25 years, his service to his clients was second to none. Peter loved all animals especially his dog Jenny and grand-dog Duncan who are already missing their walks in the park with him. His love for life showed in everything he did. A private cremation has already taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at York Downs Golf and Country Club, 4134-16th Avenue, Unionville, Ontario, 905 477 3105, on November 5th starting at 3pm. In Peter’s memory donations can be made to Markham Stouffville Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit who gave him outstanding care in his final days. We know wherever you are you have a scotch in hand, a curry on your plate and the Stones playing on your top of the line sound system.
