Obituary of Daniel Chalmers

CHALMERS, Daniel William (DC)

July 14, 1954 – August 19, 2017

Dan passed away following an illness at the age of 63 in the loving and devoted company of Karen, his wife of 38 years. He is missed greatly by his children, Kerry and Kyle, as well as his father, Arthur, and brother, Dave (Nina Grottoli). He also leaves behind his grandchildren, James and Daniel Hillerup, who love their Bubba. He now joins his mother Helen. 

DC was an avid golfer, and looked forward to his annual trips with "The Boys". He also enjoyed feeding his birds, camping, swimming, fishing, carpentry and gardening. 

His life touched many people, and he will be missed by many friends, relatives and colleagues. 
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Pickering Legion (1555 Bayly St., Pickering) to share his life, humour and friendship. All are welcome to join us to share their memories and have one last laugh with Dan.
