Obituary of Allan Wray Gowing

GOWING, Allan - On Sunday, October 25, 2015, Allan Gowing of Listowel, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. Allan will be missed by his children Delena and Shawn Bender, Kent and Amanda Gowing, and Alyssa Gowing, all of Listowel. Allan will also be dearly missed by his 6 Grandchildren that meant the world to him, his Mother Jean Gowing, and his siblings, nieces and nephews. Many members of the surrounding community will remember Allan by his caring nature, always ready to help when needed, and always up for a chat. He was a good friend, a caring man, and will be deeply missed. In keeping with Allan's giving nature, he has been bequeathed to the study of science in an effort to further studies & education. A casual Celebration of Life will be held in his honour on Friday, October 30, 2015 from 5-10 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion-Branch 259, 565 Elizabeth St. East, Listowel. Best wishes only.
