Jim was one of the first people I met in the trucking industry when I started at Mid Con Terminal around 1978, I was only 19 years old but Jim had a big personality and always was setting up lunch meetings or after work meeting and he included everybody, he encouraged me to transfer from the operations end of the business and get into sales he said I would do very well, and 40 years later I am still at it, although the years have gone by Jim and I always kept in touch ..he will be missed by all who had the extreme pleasure of knowing him.

It is with great sorrow that i found out the passing of a Great Guy in the Transportation Industry. Jim was a great person and it makes me feel good to have know him for many years. RIP my good friend.

I shared very many memorable experiences with Jim including golf, race track and work. He was a great guy, everybody liked him.
