Obituary of Michelle L. O'Brien

Michelle O’Brien passed away on February 7, 2018 in Toronto after a year-long battle with Breast Cancer.

Michelle was born in Owen Sound, Ontario on June 1st, 1975. After her education was completed Michelle worked as a Registered Nurse for 10 years. One of the favourite aspects of her career was working with Veterans at Sunnybrook in Toronto. She loved caring for the elderly.

Michelle met Sean O’Brien in 1993 and, after several years together, they married in Las Vegas in October 2000.

Michelle and Sean have three children Evan (14), Laura (12) and Amy (9). Michelle chose to be a full-time mother and did so with the utmost love and dedication to the children. She was the best of mothers and a truly loving wife and best friend to Sean.

Michelle always lived life to the fullest. She travelled the world with her family, she explored, loved and laughed at every opportunity. She treasured her long-time neighbourhood, the Beaches, with so many close friends in the community and from the children’s schools. Michelle had an incredible strength and courage that allowed her to climb mountains, sail oceans, and to battle cancer to her final day.

Michelle will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. The positive effect she had on so many people’s lives will always be remembered and celebrated.
