Obituary of Janet "Mona" McOnie Peacock

PEACOCK, Janet (Mona), (aka Gran) -
 
            Passed away peacefully at Linhaven Home on Saturday April 28, 2018 in her 103rd year,  Beloved wife of George Harvey (d. 1970) and Murray Peacock (d.1997).
 
Dear mother of Carol and Linda (Ian). Loving grandmother of Gavin (Erin) and Kimberley (John). Great-grandmother to Lukas, Kaitlyn, John, and Brooklyn.

Will be sadly missed by her step-daughter Diane (Gary) and her step-grandchildren Christopher, Nathan and Lindsey.
 
Mona was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1916 and came to Canada in 1977. Having spent many years volunteering in Scotland, she joined the Hotel Dieu Auxiliary in St. Catharines and completed 25 wonderful years with them.
 
Many, many thanks to the staff & volunteers at Linhaven for their loving care and support.
 
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held in the Auditorium at Linhaven (403 Ontario St., St. Catharines) on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 2-4 p.m.
