Obituary of Dorothy Louise Lawson

We are greatly saddened to announce the passing of Dorothy Louise Lawson on April 24, 2018. Dorothy passed away peacefully at the age of 78, surrounded by her family. She has been reunited with her beloved late husband, Robert Lawson and her late faithful companion Shih-Tzu, Kaya.

Dorothy was born and raised in the Beaches and spent most of her life in the Lorne Park area of Mississauga, close to Lake Ontario where she spent many hours walking and enjoying nature.

All those who knew and loved Dorothy described her as the most generous, kind, compassionate and beautiful person they had ever met. She had a passion for her dogs, ceramics, oil painting, travelling, gardening, helping others, and especially jogging through Lorne Park.

Dorothy spent over 25 years working as a realtor alongside her late husband at his firm, R.E. Lawson Realty, and in later years at both Connor Realty and Lorne Park Realty.

Dorothy will be greatly missed by her children and their spouses, Jerri (Tony), Jon (Carrie) and David (Nadya), her grandchildren Jonathan and Christian who she loved dearly, and by her sisters May and Beverly.
