Obituary of Peter Gordon West

West, Peter Gordon ~ Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, in Mississauga with his family by his side on Thursday, August 2nd, 2018. Beloved husband of 44 years to Linda. Dear father of Andrea (Chris) and Colin (Trish).  Dear son of Hazel and the late Joseph Bernard West. Adored grandfather affectionately known as “Sir” to Grandchildren Ainsley, Austin, Grayson and the late Karlie.

Friends and family will remember Peter for his great sense of humour, amazing patience as well as his love for fishing, reading, history and his dedicated 35 years of service with the Federal Government.

Family and friends are invited to visit with us on Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 1:15 until 2:30 p.m. at which time a Memorial Service to celebrate his life will take place, all within the eco Life Celebration Centre, Magnolia Chapel of  St. John’s Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium, 737 Dundas St. E,, at Cawthra, Mississauga. A reception will follow. Parking is available at the parking lot adjacent to the church. Please proceed through the cemetery gates to the large building on the right-hand-side.
