My deepest and sincere condolences to you and the entire family. My heart is broken for you. I didn't know this young man or the family but my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Mackai is with the Lord now and there is no more suffering. Praying that the Lord may continue to give the family strength, comfort and peace. May the Lord continue to bless you and your family . I found this sweet pic of Mackai when I put the #llmj on Instagram. I thought I would share it.
I felt blessed to spend the entire day with a very special family, The Jackson's, on the day we laid Mackai to rest. My thoughts and prayers are with this beautiful family during an incredibly trying time in their lives.
Eternal rest, grant unto him O Lord
and let perpetual light shine upon him.

Mackai never failed to light up my day the moment that I saw him in the morning. A bright, silly and sweet boy with a sense of humour that was out of this world and a smile that made everything seem easier. I have been lucky to know him, and a piece of him is with me forever - in everything that I do. We work to mould children into the best versions of themselves, but even as a young boy, Mackai helped to mould me into my best self. Everlasting love and support to his family and to everybody whose heart breaks for this tragic loss. What a blessing it was for us all to know Mackai - a truly special, beautiful and irreplaceable soul. With us forever. Love.

My fondest memory of Mackai was on an earth day outing at Queen Alexandra when we cleaned up the neighborhood. He was a young person of few words with strangers, but on this day he was full of praise for the beauty of the day, what we were doing and of the love for his family, especially his Mother. My heartfelt condolences are with you at this difficult time. I will remember his smile and kindness as a bright spot in this world.
