Mary and I met Bill and Cheryl "on the road". We met in a gas station in Kingman Arizona. It was our first year to RV and we pulled in behind Bill and Cheryl's truck to get fuel and propane. Cheryl was inside the station and Mary took a 40 pound propane tank to get it fueled up. I was putting gas in our truck and noticed the 5th wheel hitch in the truck in front of us. I started to chat the guy putting gas in his truck. That was Bill. It was a bromance almost at once. We met a several RV parks over the years, we went to see them in Canada, South Texas, and New York. They've been to see us in Missouri after we quit RVing.
Bill was a helper. If you were doing something Bill wanted, maybe needed, to help.
I'm so glad that we got to see Bill and Cheryl in New York last year, before we knew he was sick. It was a great reunion.
We will so miss Bill and his infectious way.
Our hearts are broken for you Cheryl and for all those who loved Bill.
Rest in peace my friend.
