Obituary of Ayland Canasius Vaz

Ayland Canasius Vaz, born on the 21st of December 1980, passed away on the 17th of October 2020, aged thirty-nine.

Ayland is survived by his parents Ashley and Yolanda, his brothers Ashton and Ashlyn, his sister-in-laws Teresa Pacheco-Vaz and Jyotsna Vaz, his nephews Ashon, Ayden, Aaron, and his niece Anastasia.

Ayland,

You left too early without letting us know, now all we have are memories of our past.
You are loved by so many and you might not have known but in our hearts is where you have grown.
We close our eyes and see your smiling face.
You always knew what to say to bring a smile and a laugh to anyone having a bad day.
We don't know if we will ever understand, but it must be God's plan.

When we knew we lost you it was difficult to bear the pain of our broken heart.
Every morning we wake up hoping it was just a nightmare - and we wish there was a way to undo the days since your passing.
We wish to see you, touch you, and hear your voice once more.  We wish we could talk, laugh, and enjoy your presence as we did before.

As we sit here writing this, we realize that not everything in this life is fair.
But we know that you are aware of our sorrow and are watching over us.
We miss you more and more every new day.

We'll always remember the way you smiled and laughed, all the times we shared together.
Holiday gatherings will never be the same without you there to share the joy, to watch the kiddies grow and play and their excitement of a new toy.

Who now is going to be the best DJ ever, give us the best movie recommendations, find the funniest youtube videos for us, bring us the yummiest food, and with your nephews - play video games, and lovingly annoy and wrestle with them to 'toughen them up'?

Ayland and Uncle Aynee, you touched so many lives with your kind, caring, loving, strong, generous, happy, and peaceful nature.
We wish you well and wherever you are, may you rest in eternal peace.

We love you!
