Obituary of Anne Bennett

Anne Bennett (née Markoff)

Born on May 15th, 1939.  Greece. 

Passed away on December 24th, 2020. Predeceased by her husband, Edward Bennett. (1936-2018).

Anne is lovingly remembered by her three children, Karen-Laurel, John (Anna), Mark and her granddaughter Amy (Jason) and her great granddaughter Lila. She is survived and fondly remembered by sisters Helen and Diane and her nieces, nephew, their spouses, their children and her many cousins.

Despite years of multiple chronic illnesses, Anne’s indomitable spirit and love of life always shone brightly through.

We would especially like to thank the recreational programming staff of the Alzheimer’s virtual day program for filling the last months of Anne’s life with so much joy, laughter, and comfort. We will forever be grateful.

There will be a private Macedonian Orthodox burial at Streetsville Public Cemetery.
