Robert “Bob” Doherty

1940 - 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Russell Doherty on February 9, 2022 in his 82nd year.  Devoted husband to Teresa Marie (nee Kelly) for 51 years, loving father to Jennifer (Claudio), Stephen, and Ryan (Tonya), and beloved grandfather to Aiden, Kieran, Nina, Kadyn, and Conor.  We will miss his kindness, humour and thoughtful mind.

Bob retired from IBM after 31 years of service.   

The family extends our deepest gratitude to the staff at Harmony Hills Care Community who cared for Bob in the last 10 months of his life. 

A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Calvary Church Toronto at 11 am, followed by burial at St. John's Norway Cemetery.  If desired, donations may be offered in his memory to Alzheimer Society of Toronto or your preferred charity. These donations can be made on the Donations tab of his home page.
