Obituary of Kevin Kelly
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our brother, Kevin, on March 30, 2022.
Kevin was predeceased by his loving parents Eileen Kelly and Al “Kelly" and his older brother Ed. He is the dear brother of Colleen (Roy), Michael (Robinia) and brother-in-law of Shelley Crawford (now of Thunder Bay) and uncle to Ryan (Marisa).
Kevin lived most of his life in the Beach surrounded by his family. Continuing to live on Lee Avenue, after his parents died, Kevin was blessed to have the loving care and attention of Shelley and Ed. They provided lots of fun experiences and opportunities that truly enriched his life. Due to various circumstances in the last few years Kevin resided with the Vita Community Living Services. The support staff at Vita showed exceptional care and commitment to making sure he had the best quality of life with them. While Kevin was with us, he loved his siblings and their partners, the ladies at Bello, his support friends, his food, especially “burgers & pop”, going anywhere in a car. His infectious laugh would ring out loudly, and his beaming smile was always ready for a photo opportunity.
Our brother Kevin will be sadly missed by all who knew him or knew of him through his photo montages over the years.
Private cremation has already taken place. A graveside service will be held at St. John’s Norway Cemetery, 256 Kingston Rd., Toronto, on Friday April 8 2022 at 2 p.m. Friends are welcome to attend and are asked to park either on Kingston Road and assemble outside towards the sandstone building ahead, or park inside the cemetery lanes to the right no later than 1:50 p.m. to be guided to the site.
