Robert (Bob) Chatterton

Obituary of Robert (Bob) Chatterton

Robert Wayne Chatterton

April 17, 1947 - April 8, 2022

Bob Chatterton beloved husband, father, grandfather, step-father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend joined his Father in Heaven on April 8, 2022.  Surrounded by family, Bob’s soul peacefully left this earth to travel to Paradise.

Bob was an avid outdoorsman and loved being adventurous.  He loved to tell stories of his mission trips to Venezuela and the Amazon.  He loved hunting and fishing and would gladly demonstrate how to call a moose for you.  His step family affectionately called him “Moose”.

Like his mother, Bob was creative and loved to paint and do wood burning portraits.  His creativity allowed him to create some great flies for fishing as well.  He was also known to come up with some creative money making ideas, like raising worms!

Bob had a very silly side and a wonderful sense of humour.  He is remembered for his love of jokes and silly dances. He was a great problem solver and puzzler.  He could come up with many creative solutions to problems he found on his job as a Master Electrician for his own company Chatterton Electric.

Bob was also very compassionate and loved to help others when he could.  He would often barter for work instead of being paid monetary value and would accept different forms of payment from his clients if it was needed.  He had a wonderfully kind heart and sensitive soul.  He found value in helping others and loved to share his faith in God with those around him.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service and art showcase for him will be held at Orchard Fellowship Church, 2 Whyte Ave S, Thorold, Ontario on  April 23, 2022, 3PM.  If attending, please bring some of Bob’s art for the showcase.
