Obituary of Teresa Del Socorro Valero Bencardino

Teresa was born in 1958 in Cucuta, Colombia,  mother of Juan Manuel, Andrea, and Ximena, she was a warrior who traveled the world and lived in Venezuela, Guatemala, United States and Canada, Teresa was able to leave friends in many different places around the globe.

Always with a social sense in mind, Teresa supported several immigrants to get legalized in Canada, also as fundraiser, collected and provided clothing and furniture to persecuted social leaders, immigrants escaping injustice and new commers looking for a better future for their families in Canada.

The people who knew Teresa, was touched somehow with her devotion to serve, once an angel on earth, now an angel in heaven.

Today Teresa is no longer with us, but her memory will last forever and stay with many families she helped in USA and Canada.

Please join us for Teresa's Funeral Prayers on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 6 p.m. at the eco Life Celebration Centre-Sandalwood Room of St. John's Dixie Cemetery, 737 Dundas Street East at Cawthra, Mississauga). Visiting will follow from 630-730 p.m. Cremation will follow.

Guest parking is available in the large lot adjacent to the church building. Please proceed through the main cemetery gates to the north to the large building ahead.
