Obituary of Lecie Carmelita Burgess

Lecie Carmelita Burgess, Born on February 7, 1935 in Georgetown, Guyana who eventually moved to London, England to join her siblings. While living in England she decided to become a registered nurse, later moving to Canada and furthering her career. She devoted her life to taking care of others as a nurse, a daughter, a mother, a grandmother and a great grandmother. She leaves behind her grand children Chantel, Juma, Akeem, and Sierra and great-grandchildren Xavier and Amayah. She will be forever loved and missed.

Lecie's life will be celebrated on Thursday, April 27, 2023 with a Funeral Liturgy without Mass. Please contact eco at 647.660.5056 for details. The Rite of Committal will follow at Beechwood Cemetery (Jane Street at Steeles Avenue).
