Obituary of Moris Wilson Dixon

Moris Wilson Dixon, beloved son, husband, father and uncle, was warmly known as Baba Dixon.  Moris was born in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India on May 20, 1962 to Faithful Dixon and   Mona Dixon. 

Moris was a dear child and he was showered with a tremendous amount of love. Moris grew upin Allahabad and Delhi.  He is the youngest sibling.  He continued his education in Kota University. In his career, Moris worked in Unitech Limited as an IT professional.

Moris was a firm believer and best friend to anyone in need.  He was a role model in every aspect of his family life. He will be remembered for his wonderful and noble deeds.  He was a quiet but observant, and knew it all. His personality suited his calm and quiet demeanor. He was the man who lived heartily, loved unconditionally, laughed often and gained respect of everyone surrounded by him. He was known as a person who looked for good in others and gave the best he had.  

He was a good sportsman and played cricket, badminton, football, hockey, volleyball, carom and chess. He was an active member of Saint John’s Church and a member of the Pastorate Committee.  

Moris leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Snehlata, children, Ankit and Akanksha, daughter-in-law Cinderella, granddaughter Erica, brother Morgan Daniel, sister in law Mary Daniel, daughter-in-law Priyanka Daniel, grandchildren Aarisha & Eva, and lots of host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Please celebrate Moris' life with us on Saturday, May 20, 2023 with visiting from 11:15 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at the eco Life Celebration Centre-Sanctuary of St. John the Baptist Dixie Church (737 Dundas Street East at Cawthra, Mississauga).

A Funeral Service for Moris will follow at 11:45 a. m. with burial to follow on-site at St. John's Dixie Cemetery. A Memorial Reception will follow on-site at the Parish Hall of St. John' the Baptist Dixie Church.
