Maria Parodi

Obituary of Maria Ana Parodi

Gracias a la vida que me ha dado tanto Me ha dado la marcha de mis pies cansados Con ellos anduve ciudades y charcos, Playas y desiertos montañas y llanos Y la casa tuya, tu calle y tu patio. Ana was born in Cordoba Argentina on July 22nd 1932, was raised in La Toma, San Luis and later moved to Buenos Aires for work. There she met the love of her life, Juan Carlos Parodi whom she married on the 5th of February 1958. They had two children, Ruben Omar Parodi and Daniel Silvio Parodi. In 1991 she followed her two children to Toronto, Canada where she started a new life with Juan and her sons. Her love of family, friends and life soon helped her to make Toronto her new home. She enjoyed every summer festival in the city and she became famous to her friends for her amazing empanadas, ensalada de papas and ensalada de frutas, which she made for every special occasion. She was very fond of her grand-children Yasmin Aphiah Parodi, Sebastian Karim Parodi and Jessica Jatzareth Parodi Lopez. Her grand-children will miss her warm embrace. Ana moved on to her final destination on the 31st of March 2016, surrounded by her family and Juan, the love of her life.
