I started going to MCC over 20 years ago, I knew no one. Donald Peter was always at the door greeting me with that huge smile and a big warm hug. He always knew my name, I don't know how he did that. I left the church for about ten years, I returned September 2023. When I saw Donald Peter again he still knew my name and gave me that beautiful smile. I will always be grateful to him for the love that he so freely gave.

Donald Peter and I met in August 2019 - I wish I knew the exact date because that's just me being me but I don't remember - and
the bond that was formed between us was almost immediate. It didn't take very long for me to realize that having him in my life would be a blessing. He called me and others "love" which was so endearing. A cherished friend for his kindness, smiling face and even temperament. The pandemic kept us apart but we "saw" each other at least once a week through Zoom at our Thursday morning "Ever Wonder" meetings. Thank goodness for that. I have appreciated his big heart and his sense of humor. Often I was warned about being taken "out of the will" or that he was going to "tell Mary on me" but these jokes just strengthened our relationship. He is one of the most wonderful souls I have ever met and I don't know anyone who met him that didn't fall for his quiet charm. It's heartbreaking that there will be no more conversations where I could learn and grow from his wisdom and spirituality. I thought we would have more time together. Peace to you my dear, dear friend. There are tears right now but I will miss you and remember you always with love.
Your friend,
Andy XO
