Obituary of Cristina Morales Bersamina
Cristina was born in the Philippines to Ceferino and Julia Martinez. She was the 7th child. She completed Commerce at Manuel L Quezon University in the Philippines.
Cristina married her high school sweetheart Bonilito. Together they had three children. Lovely, Hannah and Christian.
Cristina migrated to Canada in in November 1993 to pursue the "Filipino dream". With the assistance of her sisters and brother, her husband and eldest daughter came to Canada a year later.
Cristina was a hard working woman. Worked many different jobs and sometimes even multiple jobs at a time until she decided to go back to school. While pregnant with her second daughter she went to school to be a Personal Support Worker and completed in the year 2000.
Cristina involved herself in the church, where she was a devout follower of Christ.
Her kindness and love will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She leaves behind her husband Bonilito, her three children Lovely, Hannah, Christian, two son in laws Ibrahim and Ralph, and three grandchildren Idris, Rasheed and Hakeem.
Please join us in celebrating Cristina's life on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 with visiting from 5 p.m. until 6:15 p.m. at which time a Funeral Service will be held at the eco Life Celebration Centre-Magnolia Chapel of St. John's Dixie Cemetery (737 Dundas Street East, at Cawthra, Mississauga). Guests are instructed to park in the large lot adjacent to the church and proceed through the north gates to the west front entry.

Burial will follow on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Wasaga Beach Cemetery (610 Sunnidale Road South, Wasaga Beach).
