Patti was the mother of my childhood best friend, Hannah, and she played a significant role in my early years. Many of my cherished memories involve time spent at the farm, playing with Missy the goat and trying to conquer my fear of horses, having grown up with cows instead. When Hannah moved from Guelph to the farm in Puslinch, Patti made sure our friendship stayed strong with phone calls and regular sleepovers. She always had snacks, games, and movies ready, providing a much-needed escape from my sisters and time to bond with my best friend. When they returned to Guelph in high school and moved just two doors down, we spent countless hours in the basement, and Patti continued to support our friendship. One of my fondest memories is from our 18th birthday when she gifted us beautiful champagne glasses and a bottle of champagne—our moment to celebrate becoming adults. I’ve always admired Patti’s perspective on life. Though I haven’t seen her in many years, her impact on my life remains. Sending all my love to you, Hannah and Griffin, during this difficult time. She will be remembered with fondness.

Patti was simply the best! We had the pleasure of knowing Patti through the Kensington YMCA because she took care of our son Amari. Each time we dropped him off she always came up to Amari and would say “Good morning Mr. Amari”. She knew Amari needed to be acknowledged and welcomed into the class for an easy transition at drop off. She understood what he needed and was able to provide him with the environment to be curious, creative and to grow.
I cherished her daily reports because she was so thorough and thoughtful. She would share her thoughts and what she observed about Amari which was so helpful for us as new parents. She really cared about Amari and we felt that.
We miss her! We are so grateful we had the opportunity to have met her. She had a big presence, the best laugh, and a wonderful heart. We will always remember “Miss Patti”.
Love always,
Sara, Dwight, Amari and Alaiya

Patti was a kind and generous soul. Her love and devotion to her children, Hannah and Griffin, was easy to see as was her connection to the sunny acres neighbourhood in Guelph. Patti always had kind words and time to share with various neighbours enjoying the nice weather on their front porches. She loved enjoying the gardens in the neighbourhood and shared her love of nature. She was very kind to my family offering encouraging words and support to my son and the other neighbourhood kids. Patti's presence was authentic and I thank Hannah and Griffin for sharing their mom with us. The stars are a little brighter along with our hearts with thoughts of Patti and her family. Blessings and peace. Joan

We had the pleasure of knowing Patti through the YMCA, where she cared for our son Lochlan . It was always comforting to know that he was in the care of such a warm, motherly figure—teaching him right from wrong and inspiring him to think, wonder, and use his brain critically. Patti was truly a gift.
One of my favorite memories was when my toddler came home and said, “Mommy, Patti is the only one who cleans up… I don’t know what’s going on here.” When we shared this with Patti, she threw her head back and laughed, her smile lighting up the room. “You know he is not wrong”, she said with a giggle.
Thank you, Patti, for your care, wisdom, and for leaving such a lasting mark on our family. You will be missed, but we know you're keeping a close eye on "our boy."
Love Kate , Peter and Lochlan

Patti was my daughter’s Nanny for the better part of a year. We are so sad to learn of her passing. She was an incredibly unique, creative, and comforting presence in our home and made an indelible impression on our lives. She often spoke of her children and shared her other passions with us. We are grateful to have known her, and hold you all in our thoughts.
