We are very sorry to hear of Philip’s passing. He was such a great friend, regretfully that we lost touch with over the years.
We shared many laughs, fun dinners and very competitive card games at our place back in the day.
Rest in peace dear friend.

Phil, you and I had some great times back in our 20's
We met at OCA and became room mate and listen to a lot of Barbra S. by the fireplace in the middle of the summer,
but we had air conditioning in the house we were renting on Alcorn Ave.
Many great parties.
I will miss you my friend.
Rest In Peace!
Gary

Philip was a volunteer group leader at CAMH and I was in his group for aftercare.
He was kind, witty and never let me get away with saying “I’m fine” at checkin, he said that was too easy and meant nothing—and he was right! He wouldn’t let take the easy way out, holding me accountable with kindness and respect.
Though we did not know each other outside of the group, he had a significant impact on my life as I lived with chronic clinical depression.
He impacted so many lives. I will always be grateful .

Philip was my best friend for 20 years. We shared awesome times attending concerts, travel, unusual restaurants, driving in countryside, to mention a few. I was always in awe of his patience, humour, and impeccable taste in art. There's no one like him. Always and forever dear Philip.

Philip and I were in many, many work meetings together over the years and he was always calm, considerate and good-natured even in stressful times. Philip was a key player in the great work of Central Neighbourhood House (now TNG) and will be remembered in our sector.
I am very sorry for your loss.

Philip was such a thoughtful, generous and caring man with a twinkle in his eye and sweet, wicked sense of humour. What a tremendous loss to our world. He was a great mentor, gave more than his share, and always made people feel welcome and included. A delight to spend time with and to know. My heartfelt condolences to all who were lucky enough to spend time with such a beautiful soul, work with him and to have known him. I feel blessed by what he taught me and shared.
