Obituary of Christopher Richard Wainman

In loving remembrance of my dear son Chris, brother to Cindy, Mark and Sarah, who so tragically passed away on October 18, 2024.

We will so sadly always miss him but believe he is at peace from his sufferings.

In his earliest years with his siblings, they spent many hours together biking around Niagara Falls and Queenston areas and bonding in so many adventures to later share.
 

We have many beautiful memories!
 

Chris and Leanne Rochon married and built a home in Northern Ontario with Chris working as a crane operator at a saw mill in North Bay.  He was a learned mechanic with a keen ability to problem solve.  He enjoyed carpentry, took his time for perfection and crafted many beautiful items.  Later Chris became a certified welder and took his skills in this direction.
 

He loved the outdoors, especially to fish and cook over a camp fire, and the quiet times.
Always, we will miss the back yard bonfires where he seemed so happy with singing and playing his guitar - but we shared too his sadness and disappointments in the coming years.

For a long time Chris had dealt with addiction problems and was unwell, which eventually lead to his demise.

Truly a family’s heartbreak!

He leaves behind:
