Fuva was a special man. Warm, kind, generous and always with a smile on his face. He loved life and his family, especially the generations of kids growing up around him. He will truely be missed but the fond memories we all hold dear will live on. x

Our heartfelt condolences to our Bhattkaka's family.
Our dear Bhattkaka found his way to the divine lotus feet.
We made so many special memories with him and he will be dearly missed.
He was a legend in his life journey in Kenya, I was blessed to have lived next door to him in Dagoretti Kenya.
He was the most helpful person I knew, always going the extra mile, an innovator, a leader, a giver to all those in need in the form of not only monitory value, his precious time to teach something or just a chat. He was an accomplished sportsman with a contagious smile.
He was dedicated to his roots and wanted his own hometown Vaso people to flourish and played a big role in bringing some of them to Kenya and helping them settle.
He heard of my dad who is from the hometown Vaso whom he called with love " Amin", was teaching in Gilgil primary school Kenya, he looked him up and asked him to join Dagoretti High School where our family moved and spent happiest times with Bhattkaka's family.
His home became our home, we were welcome any time and my brother Dakshesh and I used to go to his home to watch Television, play sports and hang out. He considered me as his own daughter. We made special memories in Toronto once he moved here.
His laughter resonates in my mind, this is the memory he has left us with.

My fond memory of Mama was going to Dagoretti High School in Nairobi as a little girl, it was equivalent to a field trip - we got to see the entire school and the forestry around it topped off with a meal at your house!

Nairobi. Ruiru around 1995 - one of the best holidays I can remember…. Fuwa played chess against Me, Kartik, Jeemit & Jaimin. He beat all 4 of us but I came very close to beating him!! Afterwards he said to me ‘Amit, you came the closet to beating me, that has not happened in a long time, you are going to go very far in life!!’
