Kadeem Bascombe

Obituary of Kadeem Bernard Jamal Bascombe

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kadeem Bernard Jamal Bascombe (Williamson) born November 17th, 1991 and passed on Friday May 13th, 2016. Kadeem was not only my first and only son, he was my first love. Kadeem was also a loving brother to his siblings (Keturah, Qadiraa, Tavia, Rushawn, Carl Jr., and Nicollet) and also an uncle to Zaylen and Zamoy. He is greatly missed by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. We have all been truly Blessed to have known, and spent time with him. Kadeem was a young man who loved, and embraced life, and was truly a happy soul. He had a smile that would light up a room, and his presence was always felt. If you had the pleasure of knowing him, then it is inevitable that he now has a place in your heart, and will forever. If Kay were here, he would tell you not to be sad, not to cry, but to remember him in life, and be joyful. He wanted his passing to be a time for the people he loved, and loved him to gather, share stories, and laugh. He would not want you to shed a tear, because he knew that his passing from this physical life was not the end, but the beginning of a new chapter in his story, and he would now be with the Creator. I ask that you not lose heart as Kadeem’s outer self is wasting away, for his inner self is being renewed day by day for his eternal life and glory beyond all comparison. Do not look to things that are seen, look to the unseen, for the things that are seen are temporary, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
