I am missing my dear friend Shannon and sending sympathies to Laura, Ben and Jennie. Shannon has been my friend for 40 years. We met while working as nurses on a surgical unit in Winnipeg. Even though she moved back to Toronto and I ended up in Edmonton, our friendship continued. We celebrated happy events together and supported each other through tough times. Shannon had a kind and compassionate heart. She appreciated the little things in life like a tea from Tim Hortons and laughing at Taffy’s antics. Rest In Peace my dear friend. I know you are watching over us and are suffering no more.
