Dearest Barbara and Family:
I wish to extend my deepest sympathy in the loss of your beloved Wayne. I was saddened to read in the Belleville paper of Wayne's passing on March 16, 2020.
I went to St. Andrew's church with Wayne and Jean. Jean was in my Sunday School class and also we all attended BCIVS together. Wayne played the Clarinet in the high school band. I was in the Commercial Class from 1954 to 1958 and loved my BCIVS days. The best years ever. Wayne was so in love with you Dear Barbara.
I remember I purchased my first gold watch from Ronald Keel Jewellers, then in 1959 I purchased a silver one plus all the other purchases I made at your dad's jewellery store. I loved his store.
I did so enjoy looking at the pictures you posted, your wedding picture was beautiful. Which church were you married in Barbara? Wayne was always such a gentleman and I would get to see him at the BCI reunions and he looked wonderful.
I married my husband Art Thiel back on Feb 14/76 and he also has dementia and is in Crown Ridge Place in Trenton where I live. Our two sons are in British Columbia, but my brother Eugene Craig lives at RR6 Belleville, near the homestead. My sister, Mabel Dianne lives in Orillia, Ontario and we both remember Wayne with fond memories. He was a class act and always the gentleman. How is Jean doing these days. I believe Jean worked with my sister part time after school at Lipsons on Front St in Belleville. We think of of our younger days with fond memories.
How are you doing now Barbara? How long was Wayne sick? Art has had alzheimer's/dementia since 2005 and has been in the home since Jan 10/2016. I am so grateful that he has survived the covid-19 so far. To God be the glory.
