Condolences to the Neish family and I'm truly sorry for your loss. I worked with Doug for many years right up to his retirement on various audits at the firm. Doug always had the patience to explain things to me in a way a non-techie would understand. He was always willing to help out and got things done for our teams. He also brought great insight into discussions with us and our clients which was invaluable. Doug will be missed.
In 2007, at a lunch table in the KPMG US University in Washington DC, my colleague introduced me to a person: “Doug is from Canada too!”. This is how I met Doug. For so many years till the end Doug and I had been having an influence on each other’s life and career. I benefited so much from his intelligence and generosity. I will always remember the witty remarks he made, the deep understanding of human nature and the world he shared, and all the merry moments we had together. Doug, I miss you so much. Rest in peace.
Condolences to the Neish family. I had the pleasure of working with Doug over a period of several years - each interaction left me a little more enlightened and he was always a joy to chat with. We will certainly miss him dearly.
Doug was a great educator, leader, and friend. He will be missed dearly. Thank you for everything, Doug. Rest in peace, buddy.
To the Neish family, I wish you my sincerest condolences.
My sincere condolences to the Neish family. I've worked with Doug every since his return to Canada, and he was one of the most patient "smart guys" I know. He would spend countless hours selflessly teaching me and our whole team technical things in a way we could understand without making it feel like we were wasting his time. He taught us all a lot and we will miss him.
My sincere condolences! Doug was a great colleague and friend. We had worked together for the last several years and chatted a lot. He was full of love, humor and gentle soul. May Doug rest in peace.
Doug was a great mentor and I learned a lot of things from him since the beginning of my career.
May Doug rest in peace.
My condolences to the Neish clan, Doug was a great colleague and friend. We spent many hours working together professionally and drinking beers socially as friends. I learnt so much from Doug, as he was a well read and well travelled man. He will be missed dearly.
