Georgina and the entire William Gordon clan my sincere condolences on Bill's untimely passing. "George", as one of my late wife Joanne's closest friends, I can appreciate your feelings of loss and loneliness. Over the years Bill and I shared many enjoyable times, interests and banter. An extremely skilled "Mr. Fix It" he never ceased to amaze me when he put down his tools to discuss mutual interests, current or historic events, not to mention his unique sense of humour and one line "zingers". My fond memories of Bill will always bring warmth to my heart and a smile to my face. God bless.

I remember Bill from our time in the 48th Highlanders of Canada. He was always smiling, and looking like he was up to something or smiling at the thought of finding a fresh victim for another bad joke of his.
When I think about the good times I had with the regiment, he is one of those who made those memories so fond.
I’m very sorry to hear of his passing and would like to offer my sympathy and condolences to his family and friends.

Too few but fantastic memories of time spent with Bill. His love of being at the Silverstone circuit for the British Grand-Prix was something else. Our family will never forget him or the incredible blueberry and bacon pancakes for breakfast. Rest well Bill x
