Well it's hard for me to think of one memory because I have so many but I remember going to Zellers all the time with Ron and Rob for fundraisers for cystic fibrosis and dressing up as zeddy and we use to have so much fun doing it. You were a huge part of my life since I was a little kid and I'm gonna miss you and I love you. R.I.P. Laurie

Grandma lama
My grandma always used to see me weather she was in bad conditions or not she would be there. I remember when I was younger I used to sleepover when my parents were out, I woke up from a nightmare and she came in with an Eeyore plushy. She knew that I loved Winnie the Pooh so she put it on and stayed with me until I fell asleep.
They say the little things count and from that memory I can also say that they do, I look back at all the memories and from those moments I get a safe and warm feeling, all the darkness goes away for a split second when I was with her and I would sacrifice anything to feel the way I felt whenever I saw my grandmother.
When I got that phone call saying she was gone everything went dark, I will never get to see her again and now I always feel the guilt that I couldn’t say goodbye I will always never be able to. Even though your gone I still hear your laugh, I still feel your presence here, I still think about you everyday. That day will always be the day I remember what you’ve did for me, what you’ve did for our family, the joyful times with you will never be forgotten, your heart will always be intertwined with my heart.
I will always love you grandma lama.
Love your granddaughter Victoria

The years that we lived across the hall from each other on Falmouth were the best. We had some really fun times. So many memories of just hanging out, going to bingo with your mom, playing with Rob and Ron. On my wedding day when we left the reception we found our car full of balloons, I knew right off who was responsible. We gathered them all up and when we got back to the apartment I knocked on her door. Went in and emptied the bag of balloons all over her living room. I remember Rob was so excited and was yelling balloons, balloons. Laurie was an amazing woman thats for sure and she will be missed. Much love to you Donna, all of Lauries family and especially Rob and Ron. Laurie I will always remember you with so much Love. R.I.P my dear friend.

Growing up with a role model like Laurie was a privilege, she was so kind and caring to all !! My brother and I were her sons friends. She was the neighbourhood mom. If you needed anything anytime, she was there for you. She never judged , was always receptive and open to helping anyone she could! My favourite memory of Laurie was a fundraiser she was having at Zeller’s on the Danforth when I was about 10 years old. The night before she asked if my brother Bobby and I would come help out at the event. We said yes of course and we took turns running the dunk tank! The laughs were endless and it’s one for the books I will never forget. She had a way of bringing people together, her spirit was like a ray of sunshine and we will miss her very much. Thank you for always looking out for us Laurie I will forever appreciate all of your love over the years. Fly high angel.

Laurie, We sure had some good times together when we lived across from each other, whether it was playing space invaders, going to bingo or just hanging out.
I will forever treasure the memories I have of our good times together.
Rest in Paradise my dear friend. Love you forever. <3
