Those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard but always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear. We’ve known Mary from our teenage years, through university, as a bridesmaid in our wedding and as a colleague in three schools that we worked in. The poem above suits Mary perfectly – always quietly there caring for family and friends, always brave in her battle with Parkinson’s and always with her husband and soulmate, Chester by her side.
