Conor McManaman

Obituary of Conor James McManaman

It is with profound sadness that Allan and Diane McManaman, siblings Naomi and Julia, publically need to say goodbye to Conor, along with our heart-broken grandparents Betty McManaman and Marie Tellier, along with numerous aunties, uncles, and cousins.

Conor was notorious for his adventures: from exploring the Grand Canyon, canoeing in Algonquin, to camping with good friends. When he wasn't outdoors, he could be found reading or playing chess. Conor was an intelligent young man and was always seeking to learn more. He was attending York University in Toronto to get his BSc in Psychology.

Conor will be greatly missed by his dearest friends: Derek, Josh, and Michael, and his partner Tara, who all shared great memories with him. During his childhood, the family shared many amazing experiences getting to travel across Canada every summer. Conor taught his younger sisters (Naomi and Julia) how to build forts, ride a bike, play cribbage, and loved sharing his mathematical skills with them. Conor was a wonderful son, brother, and friend -- our time with him will be cherished forever.

Everyday someone is struggling, and we try to be with them to support, love, and listen. Sometimes it is not enough and we lose them.We will be forever less fortunate without Conor in our lives.

A private gathering will be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to CAMH would respectfully be preferred; a direct link can be found in the tabs to the left of his obituary.
